Veneziana Venezianina Pastellone Opus Vitrum Cocciopesto Decorations

- "Battuto di Terrazzo alla veneziana" (or Pastellone alla veneziana or cocciopesto veneziano or granigliato - venezianina) will be made with mixture containing marble granules (or cocciopesto) in various types and colours, with granulometry of between 1 and 15mm, marble (or cocciopesto) powder, mixed with superfluid epoxy formulas, without solvents, type RI 301 and HP 150 by SIRTEC srl. The mixture will be laid and compacted with an average thickness of 8-15mm. The entire thickness of the layer of floor must be complete and homogeneous.
- SIRTEC's Battuto will be laid by hand with a classic scattering procedure that faithfully reflects the ancient taditions of the frulians and the venetians.
- After hardening, the floor is repeatedly polished using different sizes of diamonds until a smooth surface is obtained with a glossy or semi-glossy finish.
- The average final thickness of Battuto alla veneziana will be 5-8mm for marble granukes with dimensions between 1-6mm, 7-10mm for marble granules with dimensions between 1-10mm and 9-12mm for marble granules with dimensions between 1-15mm.
- The colouration, comprehension and granulometry of the granules will be chosen by the Work Management with preliminary approval of a sample.
- Insertion of brass outlines (thickness 2-4mm) for the demarcation of laying areas and thresholds.
- Treatment of the construction joints, estimated according to the Work Management's indications, with the insertion of two metallic outlines coupled and spaced out by elastic.
- The formation of borders, counter border perimeters, little rows, double little rows for border demarcation, brass outlines, will be counted separately and added to the quote for the entire surface.
- Friezes, decorations, corner motifs etc will be quoted separately on presentation of a specific design.
