For over 20 years the SIRTEC srl company has been working in the civil and private construction industry, making veneziana terrazzo, spatulated and ceramized open pore floors.
Located in Brendola, in the Vicenza province, is the administrative and commercial office, the laboratory and the showroom, where it is possible to see many examples of floors which have already been completed.
SIRTEC has a specific expertise in making "Terrazzo all Veneziana" floors with epoxy binding. Its founder, drawing on his great experience in the epoxy resin field, had the idea of substituting cement binding commonly used in veneziana, with epoxy resin.
In his laboratory there was a group made up of very experienced geologists, chemists, architects and artisans. He developed with them a veneziana with exceptional technical characteristics which kept the beauty associated with the tradition unchanged.
Thanks to this technology, it's possible to make veneziana terrazzo in contexts which were, until recently, unthinkable and this has opened new avenues of creativity to designers and architects.
The spatulated and ceramized floors came about as a result of an evolution in industrial coating. These floors were adapted to the requirements of the civil contruction industry, giving them an aesthetic value while maintaining unaltered the mechanical characteristics.
